Thursdays With Helen: Helen Wakefield - Freelance Editor

Hello dear friends and readers!

Today I just wanted to share with you that I have my own editing website and facebook page up.  It's exciting to be moving in a new direction, and just a wee bit scary too :)

I've been blessed with a lot of support and encouragement going into this field of work, and I'm very thankful for that.  Please pray for me as I start looking for editing jobs!

I hope you like my new website - I spent weeks agonising over the design (too many weeks, probably!).  At some stage I will start blogging on editing topics, but for now it's an information and contact site.

I also have a favour to ask - if anyone would be so kind as to pop on over to my Facebook Page and like it, I'd be very grateful.

On another note ... Christmas is nearly here! Next week will be our last week of blogging for the year.  I hope you're about to take a moment to breathe in between getting on top of all your shopping and preparations for this joyous, but busy, time of year.

Helen's favourite genre is historical fiction with a strong romantic element.  She also enjoys contemporary romance, chick-lit and YA.  She's not caught up in the spell of fantasy fiction, despite The Faraway Tree series being a strong influence in her childhood.

Helen is currently working on her first book, a Christian young adult novel set between two opposite but equally fascinating places in Australia.

  1. Helen!

It's LOVELY! And so professional! Wow.

Very proud to know you - will pray that the Lord blesses your new endeavors MIGHTILY!

    1. Becky - thank you so much - you're so lovely to say these things! It's a wonderful age we live in where we can meet and communicate like this despite how physically far apart we are :)

Thanks too for your prayers. I'm praying that God will do great things with your writing!

Blessings to you and your family this Christmas time :)
